This morning we met up with the Boygle family again, but this time is was for a family shoot at the “secret garden” in Priory Park.
It was lovely seeing her new addition Ethan, he is just the cutest baby! Donna and her little girl Evie walked into the gardens pushing Ethan in his Silver Cross pram, which was loaded up with blankets, toys, food and refreshments. Then Julian followed behind, carrying everything else – a change of clothes for the children, props and even more props! The Boygle’s are officially the most prepared family EVER!
We decided what we wanted as our background and placed their new blanket on the grass. From there we just had so much fun with bubbles, windmills, tea set and dolls and lots of toys for baby Ethan. Sophie has inherited my love of laying on the ground to get cool pictures of babys, and managed to get the ‘shot of the day’ involving Ethan reaching for his ball with his Dad’s huge hand in the foreground trying to get it before him!
It’s great having Sophie with me on these family shoots – not only does she get her own shots, she also gets a different angle of many of my shots – and she comes in handy to watch the baby, whilst I take the parents away for a moment to get those ‘kiss and cuddle’ shots! The day ended with Evie attempting to pull out a wobbly tooth!
