Rebecca and her husband Alex booked Angie to take pictures of their new baby, and to also incorporate themselves and big brother Leo. Working frequently with children, we know that nothing can be planned or predicted. Very rarely do they do what you ask, but we are always prepared for that.
We started by doing some lovely close ups of baby while he slept, and then tried to bring Leo into the pictures – but he was having none of it!
Next we went upstairs to the master bedroom to get family pictures on Mum & Dad’s bed. This always works great as it makes everyone relax and feel much more comfortable. Once again though, Leo had other ideas after a little while. So Rebecca said he could go to his room and play with his toys, if he wanted. This gave me the chance to get some pictures of Rebecca and Alex alone, having cuddles with the baby.
It was almost time to go home, but I felt that the job would not have been complete without some close ups of Leo. He had the most amazing eyes and hair, and I just knew he would photograph well! After almost thirty minutes on the floor, playing cars and even taking pictures whilst he hid under the table, I finally managed to get what I (and Mum & Dad) wanted.
We pride ourselves in having lots of patience with our clients. If things don’t go as planned then we will always stay with them for a bit longer, so that they have everything they were hoping for – and more!
