We were asked to shoot documentary style pictures for Lyla’s 1st Birthday Party! It was great fun and Sophie was in her element with the little ‘uns, they just love her!
The party was held at Nanny & Grandad’s house, which was filled with family and friends. Lyla’s Mummy & Daddy had literally thought of everything; there were banners and balloons, and her cake was amazing! Present opening time was the best as Lyla really checked out every gift and looked proper pleased with them all.
After ‘Happy Birthday’ was sung, and the candles were blown out, we did some impromptu family portraits on the rug in front of the patio doors. Some of our best portraits are shot on the floor – believe it or not! We even captured Lyla having a healthy lunch break, she’s trying to keep off the cake now she’s a little model!
