We love photographing weddings and this one was no exception!
Joanna and Richard were one of our most chilled out couples ever. We were so excited to hear that we would shoot a story of their day.
The venue they chose was Fennes in Braintree, Essex, and even without being able to choose the weather, they got the best!
From start to finish, their day was relaxed and full of love.
Joanna looked simply stunning! We were happily shocked when she showed us the gorgeous red shoes she had chosen for her Wedding Day… A nod to her love of The Wizard of Oz.
Their ceremony was beautiful and brimming with smiles from everyone! I’m even sitting here smiling loads while I type this… I’m so soppy!
When Joanna walked down the aisle and saw Richard there, holding their baby boy in his arms, I was close to tears. I held them back well though, in fear of my running make up stinging my eyes!
After the ceremony, the happy couple were congratulated by all of their friends and family in two lavishly decorated reception rooms. Wow they were amazing backdrops for our pictures, and this is where we actually get some of our favourite pictures of the day.
Then later, after their wedding breakfast, we went back into the marquee to carry on the story of their day. We captured happiness, excitement and full up tummies, before their evening guests arrived.
Even their cake cutting and first dance were memorable. I have to say that we didn’t stop talking about a day with them on our long journey home!
